Dawn Oyedipe
joined the Hebron faculty in 2003. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where she majored in Music Education and minored in Jazz Studies. While at UNT, Mrs. Oyedipe was selected for an exclusive internship at Epcot Center with the Disney All-American College Orchestra. This program greatly shaped her approach to music education, emphasizing professionalism, excellence, creativity, and humor.

Mrs. Oyedipe is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Orchestra Directors Association, Texas Jazz Educators Association, and holds two certifications in Kodaly Music instruction. She initially worked with young people as an artist and clinician with Young Audiences of Greater Dallas, where she performed in over 300 schools in Texas and surrounding states. She previously taught orchestra at American Heritage Academy, Bowman & Carpenter middle schools (Plano ISD), Lewisville High School, and Killian Middle School. She enjoys providing feedback to student musicians, and has served as an adjudicator for Solo and Ensemble Contests and UIL Concert & Sightreading Contests. 

Mrs. Oyedipe has been actively involved with various community music organizations including the Southwest Celtic Music Association, the North Texas Irish Festival, Strings of Color youth orchestra, and the Collin College Jazz Program. She is also a performing member of the Frisco Jazz Combo Society, on violin. 

When she is not teaching, Mrs. Oyedipe enjoys travel, golf, and spending time with her family.
